Statistics plays a central role in both data science and machine learning. We will introduce a set of most popular statistical methods in data science and machine learning for various tasks, such as classification and regression. These will include very modern techniques and deep neural networks, and also the ever-popular classical techniques.We will also discuss important thoughts.Students will learn not only what the methods are, how they work, and why they work, but also how to code and use them in real data.

参加学生需自行负担项目学费1000美元。

1.我校正式注册在读的本科生；

2.英语水平良好，需达到以下任意一项英文水平:

TOEFL iBT: 80 | IELTS: 6.0 | Duolingo: 105 | CET 4: 500 | CET 6: 450

3.成绩良好：GPA 3.0。

1.12月15日17:00前提交纸质版清华大学海外学习线上短期项目申请表.doc至国际处海外学习办公室（李兆基大楼B416室）；

2.12月15日17:00前完成网申：
