亚洲大学联盟（Asian Universities Alliance），简称AUA，是清华大学于2017年4月发起成立的首个以亚洲高等学府为主体的大学联盟，涉及亚洲14个国家和地区的15所高等院校，清华大学为联盟创始主席单位。亚洲大学联盟为有学术志趣的学生提供海外短期学习的机会，每年联盟都会举办一系列海外学习项目。目前，印度理工学院孟买分校线上学习项目已开放申请，欢迎感兴趣的同学报名参加。
印度理工学院孟买分校（Indian Institute of Technology Bombay，简称IIT Bombay）位于印度港口城市孟买，成立于1958年，是由印度政府所建设和组成的印度理工学院的分校之一，也是印度顶尖的工程教育与研究机构。本次项目主题为：
Freight Transportation Planning and Logistics (FTPL)
Transportation planning often focuses on passenger transportation. It is well known that efficient movement of goods is critical for economic development, safety, congestion, and the environment. Unlike passenger movement, there are many players involved in the decision making of freight movement. It is important to understand, model, and plan the logistics of these movements. The modelling and planning methodologies of freight movement are different. With the increasing urbanization, the logistics of freight is receiving a significant importance. Efficient logistics operations are vital for economic prosperity of a region. Many countries have higher logistics cost causing the hurdles in the freight mobility. With the exponential growth in the ecommerce significance of the logistics operations has only increased. The course covers the various key topics in freight transportation planning and logistics operations.
