Position One

Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual’s background, the department to which she/he is assigned and the period during which she/he will undertake the internship. Here are some examples:
Assistance in drafting and preparing inputs on technical papers and analytical studies on the gender ramifications of trade policy.
Attending conferences, meetings and prepare summary reports.
Document, legal and internet research.
Assistance in the organization and servicing of webinars, round tables, seminars, etc.
Working on inputs for presentations by members of the team.
Provide inputs to documentation for technical cooperation programmes and projects.
Provides support to the delivery of an online course on trade and gender, including through communication.
Performs other related duties as required.

Position Two

Responsibilities
Training and mentoring will be provided all along the internship by the supervisors, Chief of Section and Associate Information Systems Officer in the Office. Carrying out his/her tasks under the guidance and supervision of supervisors, duties include:
Assist in updating the Alumnun Database, in addition to reviewing website material, among related tasks.
Assist in P166/Policy Capacoty Building Section’s social media related assignments.
Conduct research, as required, in relevant areas and as needed by the P166/Policy Capacity Building Section;
Participate in the organization and filming, as needed, of the courses for Geneva-based diplomats.
Participate in the editing and creating multimedia products, as needed.
Assist in the other areas if needed.

Position Three

Education: Preferred area of study for this position: areas related to economics, international economic laws or science and technology-related fields.
Duration:An initial period of three months with the possibility of extension up to six months. The starting date will be in Mid-March or early April 2022.

Responsibilities
Training and mentoring will be provided all along the internship by the supervisor (s) and team of colleagues in the Office. Carrying out his/her tasks under the guidance and supervision of a supervisor, duties include:
Participation in online meetings with the supervisor and team.
Attend, service, and summarize conferences and meetings related to the CSTD, including the annual session in March-April 2022.
Undertake research and prepare draft inputs on specific issues as indicated by the supervisors, including development of charts, graphs.
Support STI-related technical assistance projects.
Support other activities of the Section as required.

Responsibilities
The focus of this internship will be to assist the section in its work to undertake research and analysis for the next “Technology and Innovation Report”. Tasks during the internship may include, but are not limited to:
Assist in compiling information and data on technology and innovation trends related to development and inequality.
Assist in quantitative and qualitative background research for the report.
Prepare short drafts on specific issues as indicated by the supervisors, including development of charts, graphs.
Provide substantive support to the preparation of relevant documents (e.g. presentations, project documents and management of projects) as required by the above-mentioned activities.
Assist with proof reading and editing publications.
Support other activities of the Section as required.
