International Master of Public Administration

Program Introduction
The International Master of Public Administration (IMPA) program is a one-year English-taught degree program offered by the School of Public Policy and Management (SPPM) at Tsinghua University. 
Launched in 2008, the program is tailored for those from developing countries. It aims to expand participants’ ability to apply public administrative theories and tools, gain a better understanding of China’s development practices and build leadership skills necessary for problem-solving in developing and transition countries. 
Upon successful completion of degree requirements, participants will be awarded a master’s degree and a graduation certificate by Tsinghua University along with a training certificate awarded by the Ministry of Commerce in China. 
As of June 2015, the program has produced 229 graduates from 69 countries covering six continents. Most of them gained career promotion. 
Students come with question about challenges faced in their countries and leave with more policy alternatives through enlightened study in SPPM.
