for pioneering contributions to the theory of superconductors and superfluids

   Professor Anthony Leggett has made outstanding contributions to the theory of superconductors and superfluids, and scientists believe that his work on superconductivity has potentially revolutionary applications.

Anthony Leggett 2003年诺贝尔物理学奖获得者

安东尼·莱格特教授,英国物理学家,现为美国伊利诺伊大学物理系教授,他的研究为液体氦和其他强耦合超流体建立了理论体系,是国际学术界公认的量子物理学与超导超流领域的领袖

Professor Anthony Leggett, a British physicist and now Professor from Department of Physics at University of Illinois. His research has established a theoretical system for liquid helium and other strongly coupled superfluids. He is well recognized as a leading figure in the field of quantum physics, superconductivity, and superfluidity in the international academic community.

清华大学高等研究院副院长 杨振宁讲座教授


翁征宇教授,2001年起任清华大学高等研究院教授。他的主要研究方向与兴趣为凝聚态物理,尤其是量子多体强关联系统中的各种演生现象,如非常规高温超导的机理探索。

Professor Weng Zhengyu has been Professor at the Institute for Advanced Study, Tsinghua University since 2001. His main research interests are in condensed matter physics, especially in the exploration of the mechanisms of various emergent phenomena in quantum many-body strongly correlated systems, such as unconventional high-temperature superconductivity.
