Is the current mode of university education enough to sustain a nation's scientific, economic and social growth over time? There's no doubt that universities need to rethink their methods and evolve, and they should begin in two main areas: facilitating "deal flow," which actively feeds the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and generating "idea flow," the source of all global progress. In his talk, Prof. Klafter will discuss what universities in Israel, China and elsewhere can do to inspire big, life-changing ideas across the spectrum of societal needs.
