Program Introduction
The Tsinghua University-Berkeley Shenzhen Academy was jointly established by the Tsinghua University Capital University and the University of California, Berkeley, with the support of the Shenzhen Municipal Government. It is adhering to the concepts of "interdisciplinary", "internationalization" and "industrial partnership" and is dedicated to exploring "university-government- "Enterprises" three-party cooperation training mode. Integrate the resources of universities, government, and industry, train global technology leaders and future entrepreneurs, and deliver high-quality talents to solve regional and global major engineering technology and scientific research issues.
The Master of Bioengineering and Translational Medicine Program is dedicated to cultivating future entrepreneurs and outstanding application talents with engineering leadership. The project gave full play to the experimental field of educational reform in Tsinghua University, explored and practiced new concepts of graduate education, new model of personnel training, new mechanism of quality management and evaluation, and personnel training to actively adapt to the new system of social and national needs, leading the direction of China's graduate education reform.
Through 2.5-3 years of study, students who meet the requirements for degree granting in both schools will receive a master's degree in engineering from Tsinghua University and a master's degree in engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
