Tsinghua Summer Service and Learning Program in Rural China (SSLP)

Program Introduction
The Summer Service and Learning Program in Rural China (SSLP) launched in 2006. Thousands of students and faculty members from both Tsinghua and international Universities were engaged in the program over the past 10 years. The Program brought knowledge, encourage and warmth to the needy children, meanwhile, the participators gained a much deeper understanding of rural China and developed cross-cultural communication skills. Volunteering with SSLP is a rewarding and potentially life-changing experience.

Basic Requirements
There is no Chinese language requirement.Preferred candidates are those with interests in voluntary work and/or Chinese languages,and team players.

Application Procedure
May 16th to May 25th,  Tsinghua University will email the invitation letters and the invoice.
May 26th to June 15th , After getting visa, volunteers need to pay the registration fee, and email the transfer record and the scanned copies of the signed Liability waiver agreements.  
July 11th , participants arrive in Beijing.
July 31th , Program ends.
