Tsinghua-Polito Joint Master's Program

Program Introduction
Tsinghua University signed an agreement for a dual master’s degree program in architecture with Politecnico di Torino (Polito) in July 2014. According to the agreement, Tsinghua and Polito will send two to four graduate students each year from 2015 to 2019 to participate in an exchange program. Participating students who are enrolled in the program will complete two semesters of study at their home university and continue their studies at the host university in the third and fourth semesters. The students in the program will get both a Master of Architecture degree from Tsinghua and a Master of Science in Architecture (Construction and City) degree from Polito after finishing the required course credits and passing their thesis defense. 
Italy is world-famous for its architectural art and architectural theory, based on its splendid history of civilization, and its enormous cultural and historical heritage. As one of the top Italian universities specializing in architecture, Politecnico di Torino (Polito) plays an important role in the research and practice of brownfield regeneration and old industrial building reuse.
1)Both Tsinghua and Polito provide English courses for exchange students in the program. 
2)Each student is co-supervised by two supervisors, one from each university. 
3)Credits are mutually recognized and transferred between partner universities.
