The Sixth World Peace Forum Held at Tsinghua

The sixth World Peace Forum (WPF) was held from June 24 to 25. Arken Imirbaki, the Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People's Congress of China, addressed the opening ceremony held on Saturday.

This is the sixth annual World Peace Forum hosted by Tsinghua University. This year's theme was "On Challenges to International Security: Joint Efforts, Responsibility, and Reform".

The main topics of the forum included Challenges to International Security, International Security in the Trend of Anti-globalization, Regional Security Issues and International Cooperation, and Uncertainties in International Security.

Tsinghua University President Qiu Yong hosted the opening ceremony of the World Peace Forum.

The World Peace Forum, organized by Tsinghua University and co-organized by the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, is the first high-level non-official international security forum held in China.
