2016 Tsinghua International Summer School - Environment Opened

The opening ceremony of the 2016 Tsinghua International Summer School-Environment was held on the morning of August 9th. More than 80 students from 25 countries participated in this summer school, which was organized by the School of Environment and the State Key Joint Laboratory of Environment Simulation and Pollution Control. Corrado Clini, former Italian Minister for the Environment, Land and Sea, Tsinghua University Vice President Xue Qikun, and He Kebin, Dean of School of Environment attended the opening ceremony.

 The summer school will last 16 days and focus on three topics: cultural experience, environmental responsibility and inspirational innovation. The summer school will offer seminars hosted by renowned experts from world-acclaimed universities and organizations. There will also be visits to advanced environmental facilities in China.
