Mr Bellinger, with his unique and remarkable legal career and substantial experience in international legal litigation, will explain the way international law functions in real life, from the perspective of both a private lawyer and a government lawyer. He will discuss the US approach to the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court. He will preview the future of US practice after the November elections. He will also provide advice to those who aspire to become international lawyers.

His opening remarks last 40 minutes maximum, and will be followed by a Q&A session.
